What are the Indian Labor law working hours?


According to the 1948 Factories Act, Working hours in India should not be more than 48 hours a week and not more than 9 hours a day and 1948 Minimum Wages Act also states that working hours should not exceed 9 hours a day says wisdom jobs career edge experts. Employee working hours in India are – Government offices 09:30 to 17:30 ( Monday-Friday) and Saturday till 14:00, Banks – 10:00 to 15:00 ( Monday to Friday and Saturdays till 13:00), and for stores 09:00 to 19:00 ( Monday to Saturday).

What is IDA from April 2016?

IDA from April 2016 revised according to the release of AICPI (All India Consumer Price Index) for 1997 & 2007 scales and is varied for every quarter.
