What is IDA from April 2016?

IDA from April 2016 revised according to the release of AICPI (All India Consumer Price Index) for 1997 & 2007 scales and is varied for every quarter. The current year Ida rates are as follows

1.126.9 w.e.f 1st Jan 2018
2.127.1 w.e.f 1st April 2018
3.128.0 w.e.f 1st July 2018.

According to 7th CPC, PSU DA from July 2016 is expected to be at 114.8%. PSU DA (Public Sector Undertaking Employees Dearness Allowance) for the month of April 2016 is 112.4% and with a slight revision of 2.4% increase totaled to 114.8% for the month of July 2016.

DA w.e.f Jan 2016, under 7th Pay Commission, is at 125% with an increase of 6% to the previous half of the year 119% DA for July 2015. DA is revised twice in a year.
